What is an Operating System?

An operating system (OS) is software that manages computer hardware and software resources and provides common services for computer programs. The operating system is an essential component of the system software in a computer system. Application programs usually require an operating system to function. A user can not run an application program on the computer without an operating system.

WHERE IS MY INFORMATION?




At home my information is save inside diferents folders in the computer's Hard Disk, and in my clasroom, my information with the others students' information are save inside diferents folders all in a server.

Which operating system I use at home and in my classroom?

At home I use two operating system, Windows and Ubuntu.
In the ICT's classroom I use one operating system, Lliurex.
